no home for the wind

bir hafta istanbul ve bir hafta da ankara seyahatinden sonra gene kuzeydeyim.

gitmek zordu. yeniden orda olmak tuhafti. geri gelmek zordu. orda olmamak zor. nereye ait oldugunu bilememek zor. hicbir yere ait hissetmemek tuhaf. hepsine ragmen burda olmak guzel.

dun okula gittim. sinifimi degistirip beni en ust kura koyduklarini gordum. nasil oluyor da 3 ayda benim bu dili anliyor ve konusuyor olmami bekliyorlar hic anlayamadim. birseyi yanlis mi yapiyorum acaba diye kara kara dusundum derste. cunku gitmeden ogrendigim uc kelime isvecceyi de unutmustum tatilde. hatta canim ingilizce bile konusmak istemiyordu. tatili soranlara, guzeldi ve fakat konusma kabiliyetimi kaybettim maalesef diyesim geldi, kimseyle hicbir dilde konusmak zorunda kalmayayim diye.

mahmud dervis, edward said icin yazdigi vedada soyle demis;

on wind he walks,
and in wind he knows himself.
there's no ceiling for the wind,
no home for the wind.
wind is the compass of the stranger's north.
he says: i am from there,
i am from here,
but i am neither there nor here.
i have two names which meet and part..
i have two languages,
but i have long forgotten which is the language of my dreams.
